The Otter
The otter is represented by two cousins, Brooke and Reggie Otterdaughter, in my book "Y Not," She Meowed. I have always had a thing for otters from the moment I saw them at the Fort Worth Zoo. They remind me of me and my sister when we were young and frolicking about. The pair in my book help Captain Skye Good-Night capture the bad gal. They represent that fun, free spirit that otters seem to exude. River otters are my favorite.
